After graduating from the University of Hawaii, with a degree in English Literature, she travelled cross-country and around the world, living in South Korea, Singapore, Japan, and Indonesia (Bali). Along the way she worked in the travel book publishing industry. An interest in contracts set the spring into the real estate field. After working in big firms, Nedra earned her broker's license and esteemed Certified Residential Specialist designation, and in 1997 started her company.
